Mission House Coffee has  launched its new summer 2023 menu at the University of Lynchburg .

The coffee shop on campus is just one of the business’ several locations including one downtown and in the local mall.

Mission House Coffee, LLC is a cafe that was started by Tommy and Amanda Clark  who hoped to share not only  their delectable meals but also spread  the “same love and hope in God” that led to their business being a success.

Mission House opened at Lynchburg at the start of the fall semester and has worked on refining its new menu with seasonal drinks and new food additions.

“The management team, along with the owner of Mission House came up with all the new menu items and are serving them already at other Mission House locations, but we just wanted to transition slowly here since we sell more food in the other locations,” said Manager Kristin Wheeler.

“I like the sourdough toast. It is filling but doesn't make you feel weighed down just because it doesn’t have meat in it,” Wheeler added. The sourdough toast, a popular favorite amongst customers, is not the only new option added to the menu.

Recently Mission House has added a “Mission House To-Go” option with ready to purchase fruit like apples and bananas, and cheddar and turkey wraps.

These new menu options have been popular with customers; Mission House staff have reported a significant increase in sales since the additions have been introduced.

Assistant Manager Meredith added,  “I think the easiest to make is the breakfast burrito once you get the hang of it. The hardest to make is the sourdough toast but it is one of my favorites because it’s pretty and tastes good.”
